1. Download & Install
Download SpokenType from the official site or app store and launch after installation.
2. Configure AI Service
In settings, configure your preferred speech recognition model and AI provider.
3. Start Using
Press the shortcut key, start voice input and experience the power of AI voice assistance.
FAQ
Your voice data security is our top priority. SpokenType offers two processing modes:
- Local mode: Voice is processed entirely on your device and never uploaded to any server.
- Cloud mode: Voice data is sent encrypted directly to your chosen AI provider. Our servers do not relay or store it.
We never store your voice recordings, transcriptions or screenshots. Data is never used to train models.
SpokenType supports 10+ leading AI providers. Configure in Settings → AI Service. Just enter your API Key to get started. Supported providers include OpenAI, Google Cloud, Baidu AI Cloud, iFlytek and more.
You can also choose to use a local speech recognition model with no API Key required.
SpokenType uses a shortcut key to activate the voice assistant:
- Short press: Start voice input (dictation mode).
- Long press: Execute a skill (e.g. smart reply, voice edit).
Shortcut keys can be customized in Settings → Shortcuts to your preferred key combination.
How to cancel depends on your platform:
- iOS/iPadOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → SpokenType → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → SpokenType → Cancel
- Desktop: In-app Settings → Account → Manage Subscription
After cancellation, you can still use paid features until the end of the current billing period.
- iOS/iPadOS: Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to submit a request. reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Refunds are handled by Google Play. Please follow Google Play's refund process.
- Desktop/Website: All sales are final. Refunds are not provided for change of mind or partial use.
